20 Years And Counting

Well I'm 20 now. I just felt I should do a post regarding this. I had a nice little family party. Got some kind cards, decent gifts. Life goes on.

"Naked role for Harry Potter star"

When I read this headline on my favorite news website I have to admit I got a little excited. My hopes and dreams came crashing down almost as soon as I clicked on the link and was confronted by a picture of Daniel Radcliffe; I'm very disappointed. Oh well. The idea for the movie seems kinda dumb. No I'm not talking about Harry Potter, though so far I've hated all of those. I mean the film where he will be exposing himself. It's about a stable boy who is scrutinized by psychologists after poking out the eyes of some horses with a metal spike. What kid didn't torture animals when they were a child? Horses are a little larger than the typical ant, squirrel, cat or guinea pig but hey whatever floats your boat right?

First Taste of Freedom

Class is finally over and I don't start my new job, or the fall semester of school until August so I have a few weeks to do all the things I've been wanting to do before things get too busy. I'll probably try to see a few movies, enjoy the local music scene and read news on the internet without feeling guilty for wasting time. It's going to be a great next couple of days!

The Heat Is On

This is unbearable. As if this week wasn't stressful enough, it got up to 108 degress in Rush today. It's not much cooler here.

Fireworks

I'm back at home after a quick visit to my grandparents house. While there I saw two men on horse back ride down the street in front of their house. I was beginning to think maybe I was hallucinating like Grandma, but Mom saw them too. Why would anyone ride a horse in town? It's not as if they were mounted police.

Derrick visited us for a while. We watched a terrible movie about the BTK killer. He has a new tech support job.

I'm downloading Fireworks so I can finally begin work on the website.
